Based in the heart of Kirkley Village, Lowestoft, Way Up High is a registered Social Enterprise dedicated to ensuring no child in our community goes without. Since 2019, we have provided a vital, dignified safety net for families across East Suffolk, Norfolk, and beyond.

Our Children’s Bank
We act as a strategic partner to health visitors, children’s services, hospitals, and schools. Through these professional referrals, we provide bespoke care packages of high-quality clothing and essential equipment to families in need. By operating a referral-only model, we ensure support reaches those who need it most—anonymously and without stigma.

Our Community Shop
Our beautiful shop in Kirkley offers the largest range of affordable, pre-loved children’s goods in the region. Driven by a dedicated team of volunteers and the kindness of public donations, 100% of our trading surplus is reinvested directly into our Children’s Bank. Every purchase made in our shop helps us buy new essentials, like nappies and mattresses, for local families.

Our New Community Hub
We are thrilled to have recently moved into our new, larger premises, which has allowed us to expand our impact across Norfolk and Suffolk. This space now houses our professional Children’s Bank operations alongside our pre-loved shop. Our vision is to develop a dedicated community room within this building—a safe, welcoming haven for parent support groups, creative workshops, and classes. Our objective remains clear: to bring families together, build a stronger local community, and ensure every child has the best possible start in life.
